	Excellent 4 pts	Good 3 pts	Fair 2 pts	Poor 1 pts
Homework	Excellent All lhomework is in the notebook and are complete. Student shows their work. Homework has a heading.	Good All homework is in notebook. Some headings are are missing. Student shows most work.	Fair Some homework assignments are missing. There are not headings on most homework.	Poor Many homework assignments are missing. Homework does not have headings.
Notes	Excellent All notes are in notebook and are clearly and neatly wriitten. All notes have dates and a heading.	Good Most to all notes are in notebook. Notes may be messy. A few notes may not have dates.	Fair Some notes are in notebook. Notes may be messy or in wrong area of notebook. Very few notes have dates and headings.	Poor Notes are missing or very sloppy. No dates or headings on notes.
Tests & Quizzes	Excellent All chapter quizzes & tests are included.	Good Tests are included but a few timed quizzes are missing.	Fair Many quizzes are missing.	Poor There are many quizzes & tests not in notebook.
Vocabulary	Excellent All of chapter words are well defined with examples.	Good Chapter words are defined but there are no examples.	Fair Definitions are minimal & few examples.	Poor Missing many words, definitions are minimal, and very few examples.
Organization	Excellent All items are in the correct location. Sections are easily found.	Good Papers are kept in a sort of an order. A few items are misplaced. Neatness	Excellent Work is very neat and easily understandable.	Good Work is usually easy to read.	Fair Work is somewhat difficult to read.	Poor Work is hard to read because of messiness. Papers may be torn or soiled.
