Purpose: In order to more successfully contribute to community and society at large, you should be current on issues, controversies and events. Being an informed citizen and discussing current events will give you a better perspective on different points of view. You will examine what is happening right now in the world and try to make connections to the past, present, future, and ourselves. Each student will complete the current events assignment individually.
