My Classroom

Students will create a map of our classroom. It will have the student's name at the top and be titled "My Classroom". It will have a key and legend that includes at least least 5 symbols defined and used. It will have a compass rose pointing the correct direction. It will be an overhead view and include a grid system.

It may be missing tittle of map on the top, includes only 2-4 symbols, includes only 2-4 symbol explanations in key, or is missing a compass rose or grid system).	Poor Map project is missing many elements. It may be missing title of map on the top, and/or includes less than 2 symbols, or less than 2 symbol explanations in key, and/or is missing a compass rose or grid system.
Accuracy	Good Compass is represented accurately as learned. Map accurately illustrates classroom.	Fair Either compass rose is not accurately represented or map does not accurately illustrate clsssroom.	Poor Compass rose is not accurately represented and map does not accurately illustrate classroom elements.
Neatness	Good Very Neat	Fair Somewhat neat	Poor Messy
