Additionally, each slide shall include an image of a (playdoh) model of each phase. The students will have two class periods to complete the Google Slide presentation with their assigned small group.
  Poor

Students did not follow directions: or students did not put forth any effort into project.

1 pts

Fair

Students put forth some effort and loosely followed directions.

2 pts

Good

Middle of the road, student put in the effort to get it done. and shows they loosely understand topic

3 pts

Wonderful

Students have a well grasp on the topics and put forth effort. however presentation needs work

4 pts

Fantastic

Students have a well grasp on the topics and put forth effort. Presentation was also amazing. Stunning Job.

5 pts

Mutation Knowledge
1 pts

C.912.L.16.4
Explain how mutations in the DNA sequence may or may not result in phenotypic change. Explain how mutations in gametes may result in phenotypic changes in offspring.

Poor

Students' work does not show any competency in their knowledge of DNA sequencing.
Fair

While Students' work does show effort, it lacks Mutation module content as it contains incorrect information or a satisfactory amount.
Good

The Students' work is showing basic competency on the subject material.
Wonderful

The Students' work is competent on the subject material. However, the language could be more effective per slide.
Fantastic

The Students' work is competent on the subject material. Furthermore, they have gone above and beyond in their research. They clearly show an understanding of the material.
DNA Coding
1 pts

SC.912.L.16.5
Explain the basic processes of transcription and translation, and how they result in the expression of genes.

Poor

Students' work does not show any competency in the processes of Transcription and Translation.
Fair

While Students' work does show effort, it lacks DNA Coding module content as it contains incorrect information or a satisfactory amount.
Good

The Students' work is showing basic competency on the subject material.
Wonderful

The Students' work is competent on the subject material. However, the difference between the two sequencing events could be more fleshed out.
Fantastic

The Students' work is competent on the subject material. Furthermore, they have gone above and beyond in their research. They clearly show an understanding of the material.
Collaboration
1 pts

Global Collaborator 1.7.C
Students contribute constructively to project teams, assuming various roles and responsibilities to work effectively toward a common goal.

Poor

Students' work does not show any signs of communication between the group.
Fair

While Students worked together in their groups and showed progress made together, the overall product was jumbled and unclear.
Good

Students' successfully worked in group and put together a passable presentation.
Wonderful

Students' successfully worked in group and put together an effective presentation.
Fantastic

The Students' work is competent on the subject material. Furthermore, their final product was effective and clean.
Presentation
1 pts

Innovative Designer 1.4.C
Students develop, test and refine prototypes as part of a cyclical design process

Poor

Students' work does not show any competency in formatting and properly using Google Slides.
Fair

Student's work was an over use of transitional effects to make up for lack of content. Even though student can use Google Slides, they failed to effetely present information on the subject.
Good

Students' presentation was bare minimum information but was organized in a clear way.
Wonderful

Students' presentation was loaded with relevant information but could be organized better.
Fantastic

Students project was well designed and executed. Presentation shows clear effort and an understanding of not only the subject material but also of Google Slides.
