Short answer has 4-5 sentence response. For each question. Student used the A+D+D+D (Answer+Detail+Detail+Detail) formula.

Unacceptable

Zero sentences are written.
Poor

Only 1 sentence was written. One detail is included to support each answer.
Good

Only 2-3 sentences were written for each question. Two of those sentences are details that support each answer.
Excellent

4-5 sentences were written for each response. Details were included in each response showing evidence of the child's knowledge and use of the A+D+D+D formula. e sentences are written.
