Overall project
Unsatisfactory
I had to do a project? Of what???
Poor
I did something. I didn't use the one month I was given, though, and it shows. Little time or thought went into this.
Developing
I created a project. It isn't my best, and I could have done a lot better. Some details, not much thought went into this, however.
Fair
I created a project and mostly used my time wisely. Project looks messy, but the details and information is almost complete.
Good
I spent my time wisely. I thought about how I was going to present the information, and did a good, thorough job.
Excellent
I really outdid myself, and went above and beyond. I added extra details, and did a great job on neatness and paid a great deal of attention to quality.
Visual Aid
Unsatisfactory
I had to make a visual aid, TOO????
Poor
My work isn't very colorful or neat. It may not contain all of the required information. It is obvious that I rushed through this.
Developing
I have some of the required information on the visual aid, and it has some color, but I needed to spend more time making it look nice.
Fair
I did put most of the required information on the visual aid. It may not be as creative, colorful, or neat as I could have made it.
Good
My visual aid is acceptable, and displays all of the required information.
Excellent
My visual aid exceeded expectations. It is neat, creative, and has extra details.
Writing/Accuracy
Unsatisfactory
Again, that would have required me to have done something-which I didn't!
Poor
My writing doesn't have complete sentences, or uses any details to describe my subject. I overuse vague and general terms. Also, some fake news.
Developing
I have some vague ideas, and I don't have any structured paragraphs. I do have complete sentences, but I need more work on improving the structure and content of my ideas. Also, some fake news.
Fair
I still have errors in spelling, grammar, and structure, resulting in some difficulty in readability. The information is mostly accurate, but sometimes off topic.
Good
There are some flaws in spelling, grammar, or structure, but it doesn't interfere with readability. The information is accurate and on topic.
Excellent
There are very few flaws in spelling or grammar, and the writing is structured with organization and is purposeful. The writing is accurate, superb, and very informative!
Research/Information
Unsatisfactory
I had to research something???
Poor
I did very little research. My project does not have a bibliography, and it is obvious that I didn't do much to research my project/model. Plagiarism may be lurking here!
Developing
I did some research. I may have a bibliography, but it is not in the correct format, or uses too few sources. I may not have worded things in my own words!
Fair
I did some research, and I have a bibliography that shows my sources I used. I should have taken the time to look for more sources and information, but I used my own words.
Good
I researched my topic, and my bibliography shows the numerous resources used. I put the information in my own words, and really demonstrated my knowledge. I covered all of the required elements.
Excellent
Exceptional number of sources cited on bibliography. Bibliography format is correct, as well. Much information-more than required, is given.
Communication/Presentation
Unsatisfactory
I don't understand.
Poor
My audience has a hard time understanding what I am trying to tell them.
Developing
My audience can understand the information and issues I am communicating to them, but needs work and is disorganized.
Fair
My audience can understand the information and issues I am communicating to them. There are some organizational issues, and lacks a consistent flow of ideas.
Good
My project flowed well without communication issues. Some of the information was overly general/broad, which results in disinterest.
Excellent
My project was outstanding, preparation was obviously thorough. My audience learned a lot about my topic, without any issues.
