Project Participation Rubric

Students will be assessed based on their level of participation and content knowledge playing the Language Arts Jeopardy game. Game categories will include: Synonyms, Antonyms, Multiple Meaning Words, and Context Clues. Lesson is based on reading the questions, answering the questions, and social skills during the game.

Productivity/On-task	Excellent Student was ON-TASK and worked PRODUCTIVELY. Student went above and beyond the work expected of them.	Good Student was on-task and worked productively.	Fair Student was mostly on-task and mostly worked in a productive manner.	Poor Student was not on-task nor productive.
Level of Engagement	Excellent Student actively contributed to the activity. Student went above and beyond the work expected of them.	Good Student contributed to the activity.	Fair Student contributed to the activity sometimes but was hesitant to play when it was their turn.	Poor Student did not contribute or rarely contributed to the activity.
Content Knowledge	Excellent Student expressed substantial content knowledge by responding correctly to every topic "question" answered.	Good Student expressed acceptable content knowledge by responding correctly to 85% of the topic "questions" answered.	Fair Student expressed some content knowledge by responding correctly to 75% of the topic "questions" answered.	Poor Student expressed little content knowledge by responding correctly to less than 75% of the topic "questions" answered.
Receptiveness/Sportsmanship	Excellent Student is positive about material presented. Student went above and beyond the work expected of them. Student displayed appropriate attitude towards others.	Good Student was mostly positive about the material presented and responded appropriately to others.	Fair Student was mostly negative about the material presented and displayed some inappropriate attitudes towards others.	Poor Student vocalized inappropriate and negative emotions regarding presented material. Student displayed poor sportsmanship towards others.
