Content/Comprehension	Excellent Student fully understood the assignment and expectations and included all aspects.	Good Student misunderstood a small part of the assignment OR included most but not all aspects.	Fair Student misunderstood much of the expectations OR did not include most aspects.	Poor Student misunderstood the expectations of the assignment OR included very few aspects.
Preparation	Excellent Student was well prepared and communicated their ideas effectively. Has obviously rehearsed their presentation.	Good Student had little difficulty and was fairly well prepared. May have needed a couple more rehearsals.	Fair Student took a long time to think about what to say and complete presentation. Was somewhat prepared, but it is clear that rehearsal was lacking.	Poor Student does not seem at all prepared to present.
Pronunciation	Excellent Students pronunciation was understandable with some error.	Good Student's pronunciation made understanding difficult from time to time. Speaks clearly and distinctly the majority of the time.	Fair Student's pronunciation made understanding difficult throughout the presentation.	Poor Student's pronunciation was very difficult to understand, making full comprehension impossible.
Using complete sentences.	Excellent Always (95-100% of the time) speaks in complete sentences.	Good Mostly (85-95% of the time) speaks in complete sentences.	Fair Sometimes (75-85% of the time) speaks in complete sentences.	Poor Rarely speaks in complete sentences (Less than 70% of the time).
Volume	Excellent Student was very clear, no difficulty hearing presentation	Good Student was usually loud enough, with moments where they needed to speak more loudly.	Fair Student spoke too quietly most of the time, making it difficult to hear the presentation.	Poor Student was VERY quiet, making it almost impossible to hear presentation.
Grammar	Excellent Presentation contains few grammar errors which do not negatively affect comprehension.	Good Presentation contains minor grammar errors which have minimal negative affect on comprehension.	Fair Presentation contains many grammar errors which negatively affect presentation.	Poor Many grammar errors make comprehension of presentation almost impossible.
Pace/Fluency	Excellent Student upheld a good pace.	Good Student upheld a good pace, rarely going too quickly or pausing too much.	Fair Student spoke too quickly/ too slowly most of the time, used a lot of fillers (uh, ah), making comprehension difficult.	Poor Student spoke much too quickly/slowly and constant use of filler words makes comprehension very difficult.
Eye Contact and Posture (Posture includes not touching face, hands in pockets, etc.)	Excellent Student makes good eye contact with their audience and maintains good posture.	Good Student maintains eye contact most of the time AND/OR maintains good posture most of the time.	Fair Student doesn't make eye contact most of the time AND/OR has posture problems.	Poor Student makes almost no eye contact AND/OR does not maintain good posture - hands in pockets, etc.
Intonation	Excellent Student's intonation sounds very natural, keeps the audience's attention.	Good Student's intonation is generally natural with a few errors, generally keeps the audience's attention.	Fair Students intonation is a bit flat and monotone.	Poor Student's intonation is very monotone and is unsuccessful in keeping the audience's attention.
Overall	Excellent Overall performance is above expectation and leaves a strong, clear impression on audience.	Good Overall performance meets expectations.	Fair Overall performance is slightly below expectation.	Poor Overall performance is well below expectation.
