Monologue Performance 9/11
Students must write a monologue and perform. The monologue can be about anything or one (can be already created character or one that you made up). Students need to follow the script writing rules for this assignment. It needs to be 1/2-1 page typed, with no larger than 14 pt. font.

The student displayed excellent performance techniques which went well with their monologue.(fully developed character, appropriate emotions, makes emotional connection with the audience)

Written Monologue

Monologue was late and not typed. Monologue was not written in the first person or proofread. Several mechanical errors (grammar, spelling, syntax etc) Monologue was not double spaced, 12 font or a full page.
Fair
Monologue was turned in on time, typed and written in first person. Some grammatical and spelling errors and in some cases handwritten monologue was turned in. Monologue met requirements of 12pt font, double spaced but exceeded the page minimum.
Excellent
Monologue was turned in on time, typed, proofread and had little to no grammatical errors, or spelling errors. Monologue met typed requirements (page limit, double spaced and 12 point font).
