Students were asked to construct an essay about the 3 major factors they believed were most important in motivating oneself to complete a goal.

Poor The student's ideas seem to be randomly arranged and there is little to no evidence of structure.
Content	Excellent The student discusses each motivator in detail with specific, believable strategies they'll use to accomplish their goal(s). Student uses excellent transition words/phrases and strong supporting details.	Good The student discusses each motivator and has listed strategies they'll use to accomplish their goal(s). paragraphs sometimes include a topic sentence, transition words and strong supporting details.	Fair The student discusses the motivators but has vague or unbelievable strategies they'll use to accomplish their goal(s). There are few transition words/supporting details.
