Descriptive Writing Rubric with Allusions 
Students will write a fictional piece using a real event in history from an article. Writing will be graded on capitalization, punctuation, use of main idea and supporting details, spelling, grammar usage, and figurative language such as with similes and allusions. Also the writing may include metaphors.
