Ergonomics "Chair Design" Activity 
Choose one of the ideas off your ergonomics chair handout and create an ergonomically designed chair. You can either DRAW your chair to scale, or you can BUILD your chair. You must provide a rough sketch depending on which option you choose. Write an explanation explaining why your chair should be purchased for its specifically ergonomically designed features: Comfort, adjustability and stability, back and seat.

The student was unable to complete and make either a sketch or model of their chair to scale. It did not show the ergonomically designed features and could have been more realistic and neat.
TASK 2: WRITTEN EXPLANATION

Level 4

The student put together a detailed and engaging written explanation focused on his/her designed chair explaining how comfort, adjustability and stability, and back and seat considerations were taken when designing the chair.

The student put together a good written explanation for his his/her designed chair explaining how comfort, adjustability and stability, and back and seat considerations were taken when designing the chair.
