Creativity

20% of the mark x1

Does not meet expectations

The memoir lacks personality. It reads more like a report containing some facts than a personal story. Lacks character development. Lacks apparent creativity.
Meets basic expectations

The memoir attempts to engage the reader but may lose focus. Some character development, but the story does not fully engage, and/or the lack of illustrations weaken the presentation.
Fully meets expectations

The memoir has some personality. There are personal touches that are effective, but there is some lack in the finishing touches here. Still, a good presentation.
Exceeds expectations

The memoir/journal/story is believable with personal touches throughout. With a well-developed protagonist, this is engaging and enjoyable to read. Illustrations, etc., add a great touch.
