Students will view their chosen movie, and then write a movie review. This review should assess the quality of the movie using the criteria discussed.

On the Way Essay conveys the criteria but the ideas are not specific enough to make the story interesting.	Just Beginning Essay doesn't focus on the three chosen criteria. Ideas do not relate to each other or are not well developed..
Organization:	Ready to Share Essay is organized so that it highlights writers ideas and analyzes three criteria. There is a clear introduction, body, and conclusion that captures the readers interest.	Almost There Essay is organized so that it highlights writers ideas and the criteria. There is a clear introduction, body, and conclusion.	On the Way Essay is organized which can be easily read. Organization doesn't confuse the audience. There is an introduction, body, and conclusion.	Just Beginning Essay lacks a clear sense of direction. Ideas, details, or events are strung together in a loose or random fashion. There is no clear introduction, body, or conclusion.
