Heroes, Gods, & Monsters of the Greek Myths Red Vase Heroes, Gods, & Monsters of the Greek Myths Red Vase Students create a Red Vase poster based on the myth they research. Their Red Vase should include an image of the god or goddess associated with the myth and/or an aspect of daily life in Ancient Greece. On the back of the Red Vase students are to summarize the myth. Students need to remember that the purpose of the poster is to recreate a one dimensional model of what an actual Red Vase might look like and to teach the rest of their classmates about their myth. The student failed to include the river symbol, or s/he failed to follow basic design elements leaving blank space or having too many elements which detract from the main image.	Good Image is present and displayed prominently on the Red Vase. River symbol is present and design complements the main image; however, neatness is lacking. Summary of Myth 30 %	Poor Summary is not present on the poster.	Fair Summary is present, but not complete. Students will not get a good idea of what happened in the myth.	Good Summary is present and includes a limited description of the plot. Students will partially understand what happened in the myth.	Excellent Summary is present and includes a detailed description of the plot. Students will clearly understand what happened in the myth.
Spelling & Grammar 20 %	Poor Poster has many (5 or more) spelling and grammar mistakes or cannot be read.	Fair Poster has a few (2-4) spelling and grammar errors or is hard to read.	Good Poster has less than 2 spelling and grammar error and is neat and easy to read.	Excellent Poster has no spelling and/or grammar erros and is neat and easy to read.
Effort 20 %	Poor The student put forth no effort or the project was not completed; class time was not used well.
