Presentation Rubric
	Exceeding 4 pts	Meeting 3 pts	Approaching 2 pts	Progressing 1 pts
Content	Exceeding Presenters include links to the themes, summary of plot (including setting and main characters), the problem, your feelings/opinion, and an excerpt. Well-prepared.	Meeting Includes summary, the problem, your feelings/opinion and an excerpt. Presenter seems prepared.	Approaching May include summary, the problem, your feelings/opinion and an excerpt, but gives too much or not enough information. Presenter has not given enough forethought to the presentation.	Progressing Does not include summary, the problem, your feelings/opinion or an excerpt. Presenter has not given forethought to what he/she was going to say.
Word Choice/Persuasion	Exceeding Very exciting tone; creates suspense but does not spoiling the book. Convinces listening to read the book. Explains why you enjoyed the book. If you know something about the author, you include that to add interest.	Meeting Exciting tone; tells an exciting moment that shows you enjoyed the book; tells just enough but does not spoil the ending.	Approaching Somewhat exciting; may spoil some of the book and/or does not connect to the audience.	Progressing Not exciting; spoils the book and/or does not tell why or why not you enjoy the book or includes a exciting moment/key detail.
Volume	Exceeding Made consistent eye contact and spoke clearly at an understandable pace.
