Good Paper topic is interesting, and research, writing & citing were done competently. Orig. score is beginning to be a problem: 10-15%	Fair Obvious haste involved in production of this paper. Not well developed or researched. Writing may have many mechanical errors. Originality score is creeping up too much--16-19%.	Poor Not well planned or executed. Research is superficial and writing is undeveloped or too close to research as shown by a high originality score (20% and above).

Good content. Shows good development. There are up to 9 grammar problems, but these are minor.	Fair Two elements are missing. The paper is a "quilt" of quotes and/or there is not enough of the writer's presence. Content is superficial & not developed. Organization is simplistic. More than than 10 errors in punctuation including serious run-ons, agreement issues.	Poor Organization is missing; paper lacks clarity and/or completeness. It is repetitious because of lack of content. Organization absent. Grammar problems are very serious and students needs a tutor.

Works Cited/Citations 15 pts	Excellent -All sources properly cited in text and in the WC page.	Good - In text citations and a Works Cited page are present, but there are several minor errors and/or some info is not cited when it should be.	Fair -Several sources are not properly cited in paper and/or on WC page. Several major errors in WC citations.	Poor -WC page is not formatted properly in MLA. Internal citing is not present or MLA is confused with another citation style.
