Sewing Project Rubric
	Excellent 10 pts	Good 5 pts	Poor 1 pts
Cutting	Excellent All pieces were cut to 9" squares and are straight lines.	Good Most pieces were cut to 9" squares and most are straight lines.	Poor Few pieces were cut to 9" squares or are not straight lines.
Stitches	Excellent Each square contains an "X" and is sewn straight.	Good Each square contains an "X" and is somewhat sewn straight.	Poor Not all squares contain an "X" or is not sewn straight.
Seams	Excellent Seams are all 1/2" and raw edges are all exposed to the front.	Good Most seams are 1/2" and raw edges are all exposed to the front.	Poor Few seams are 1/2" or not all raw edges are exposed to the front.
Batting	Excellent Batting is even within each square and excess is cut out of the raw edges.	Good Batting is mostly even within each square and most of the excess is cut out of the raw edges.	Poor Batting is uneven within the squares or excess is not cut out of the raw edges.
