Fable Writing Fable Writing Write a fable that illustrates a particular moral using imagined characters and events. Your fable should clearly demonstrate the moral and include a plot. Excellent Character(s) embody stereotypes that are obvious to the reader. Choice of character(s) enhances the moral of the story.
Plot	Poor Actions in plot do not lead to the moral.	Fair Actions in plot barely lead to the moral.	Good Actions in plot lead to the moral.	Excellent Actions lead directly to the moral.
Moral	Poor Does not create a moral or the moral seems unrelated to events in the story.	Fair Moral is present and somewhat supports the fable. The moral is related to events in the story, but is not clearly a lesson learned.	Good Creates a moral that supports the fable. The moral is a lesson that can be learned from the main character's experience.	Excellent Successfully creates an effective moral that supports the fable. The moral is clearly the lesson the main character should learn.
