Guidelines
	Excellent 10 pts	Acceptable 8 pts	Unacceptable 5 pts
Overall Appearance	Excellent Colors are appropriate for design. Layout is visually appealing and catches the eye. All areas are present from graph paper to final smart draw design.	Acceptable There are some smudges from the use of dirty equipment. The laoyout is off of center.	Unacceptable The drawing is not centered on the paper and crosses outside of the boarder. The paper looks dirty and there are stray lines. The paper is torn in several places.
Completeness	Excellent All necessary detail are contained within the layout.	Acceptable There are some (3- 5) details missing from the layout.	Unacceptable There are many details missing from the layout (+5)
Accuracy	Excellent All information is included in its correct location and in the correct size.	Acceptable Some details are not shown and cause only minor mistakes to the rest of the drawing.	Unacceptable There are a significant number of errors or misplaced details. These mistakes may cause the rest of the layout to be off to some extent.
Proper Notes	Excellent Proper labels were used to identify the important parts of the design.	Acceptable Some minor labels describing the drawing were left out.	Unacceptable There are a significant number of labels missing from the drawing. The drawing is missing important details that describe the salon design.
Graph Design	Excellent Lines are drawn cleanly. The lines are also straight and the drawing equipment was used properly in the layout on the graph paper.	Acceptable Some lines are jagged because a straight edge was not used. There are few areas where they do not correspond to the smart draw.	Unacceptable No straight edges were used when drawing the layout on the graph paper and as a result the lines are choppy and crooked.
