Procedural Writing 
Students will choose something they know how to do well and write a procedural paper ("how to") to tell someone else how to do the chosen tasks. Students must include an introduction(how they know they are good at the chosen item), helpful tips to help others get better at the chosen item, and a conclusion.

You put thought into this, but it is hard to tell what you are writing about. More information is needed to follow the directions. You don't include enough steps to be able to follow the procedure.

What you are writing about is clear. You stayed with the idea. Most of the steps are there and can be followed.
Level 4

What you are writing about is clear from the start. Anyone can follow the directions. You have a good number of steps in order to follow the procedure.
Organization

Level 1

The information lacks details and does not have a is logical sequence. You may have omitted one or more some steps. Few, or no, transitional words are used.
Level 2

Keep working at it. You left out one or more steps or they may have been out of order. This causes some confusion to the reader. Introduction or conclusion is missing.
Level 3

Your steps are presented clearly and in a logical order. You have included most of the necessary steps. More details would help clarify the process.
Level 4

You included enough details. The detailed steps are easy to follow and in logical order.
Transitional
