Healthy Cafeteria Menu Project

This menu is to get students to think outside the box and create a fun, exciting and healthy menu that would get students to excited to eat at the cafeteria. The focus on menu items are healthy items using Canada's and/or Mexico's Food Guide

Menu Items	Advanced Has the minimum menu items required: 5 breakfast, 5 lunch, 7 snack and 3 drinks	Proficient Has 15+ menu items. Does not have the required amount of menu items for each meal.	Average Has 10+ menu items. Does not have the required amount of menu items for each meal.	Below Average Has 10 or below menu items. Does not have the required amount of menu items for each meal.
Creativity	Advanced Creative was shown and was an excellent food menu and creative descriptions were given for each menu item. Students would love to eat at this cafeteria.	Proficient Creativity was shown and menu was good and the menu descriptions were given some thought. Most of the students would probably enjoy eating at this cafeteria.	Average Creativity was somewhat shown, but wouldn't necessarily draw the students to their menu.	Below Average Creativity was not shown. Menu was not created to draw the students to their menu.
Health Factor	Advanced Excellent thought was put into creating this as a healthy menu. The Canadian and/or Mexican Food Guide was taken into consideration as well as other elements of nutrition that were learned in class.	Proficient Good thought was put into creating this as a healthy menu. The Canadian and/or Mexican Food Guide and lessons learned in class were only taken into consideration in some parts of the menu.	Average Some thought was put into creating this as a healthy menu. The Canadian and/or Mexican Food Guide and lessons learned in class were barely taken into consideration in some parts of the menu. Presentation	Advanced A lot of effort was put into this presentation. It is creative and well put together. Each member of the group spoke equally. Little creativity. One member of the group dominated speaking in the presentation.	Below Average No effort was put into this project. No creativity. Neither group member spoke sufficiently during the presentation.
