Double Entry Journal

Students will select five quotes from the reading on the left side of the journal. On the right side of the journal students will write their observations, clarifications, personal connections on the reading. 1-2 Pages.

Connections to reading	Basic Few or no connections are made to the literature or other relevant text, experiences connected to the prompt.	Proficient Connections are always made to the reading or other relevant text, experiences. Ample evidence from the text is provided.
