Slate	Poor Students did not slate the piece.	Fair Students partially slated the piece.	Good Students mostly slated the piece properly.	Excellent Students slated the piece properly.
Language, Phrasing, Timing	Poor Student was not understood by the audience because the student sped through their lines.	Fair Student needs to improve on timing and phrasing. Part/role was hard to understand because the student spoke too quickly.	Good Student used good timing and phrasing. Part/role was spoken in a voice that was usually steady. Student spoke slightly too fast.	Excellent Student used excellent timing and phrasing. Part/role was spoken in a steady voice. Student did not speak too quickly.
Dramatic Presentation
	Poor 5 pts	Fair 7 pts	Good 8.5 pts	Excellent 10 pts
Movement	Poor Students had 2 or fewer movements.	Fair Students had a minimum of 3 different movements.	Good Students had a minimum of 4 different movements.	Excellent Students had 5 or more different movements.

Volume & Clarity	Poor Student's voice was never clear, and the audience could not hear them.	Fair Student's voice was rarely clear, and most of the audience could not hear them.
