Students used less than 6 energy transfers. 6 Points	Good Mostly understood the project, used all 6 energy transfers but did not connect them effectively. 8 Points	Excellent Completely understood the problem and used all 6 energy transfers required. 10 Points
Art/labeling information 20 pts	Poor Either the Artwork or description of machine was completely missing. 5 Points	Fair The artwork was sloppy and difficult to read.and/or/ labeling and description of machine was not well detailed. 10 Points	Good Some effort was put into the artwork but the labeling was incorrect or unclear. 15 Points	Excellent Artwork is neat and detailed. The labeling of each part of the machine was accurate and clear. 20 Points
Time 10 pts	Poor Machine took 5 seconds or less to complete the task. 4 Points	Fair Machine took between 5 and 7 seconds to complete the task. 6 Points	Good Machine took less than 10 seconds but more than 7 to complete the task. 8 Points	Excellent Machine took 10 seconds or more to complete the task. 10 Points
