Reading Comprehension and Vocabulary 
Students are required to answer comprehension questions doing/after class readings. Students must use creative format to show understanding of vocabulary words and specifically use of similes in a paragraph showcasing one character's personality (group assignment) in poem form.

Works very well on group level, consistent output of ideas and uses vocabulary effectively in group project. Actively involved in all parts of project/
