Simple Reading Comprehension Reading Comprehension Questions Students are given a reading comprehension quiz after reading a chapter of a book and participating in small group discussions. Detail	Below the Standard Student did not complete assignment.	Approaching the Standard Student completed 1/2 of the assignment.	Meets the Standard Student completed 75% of the assignment.	Exceeds the Standard Student completed 100% of the assignment.
Grammar	Below the Standard Numerous spelling or grammar errors, making the answer impossible to understand.	Approaching the Standard Numerous spelling or grammatical errors, making the answer difficult to understand.	Meets the Standard A few spelling or grammar mistakes are evident, but do not diminish the meaning of the answer.	Exceeds the Standard Proper spelling and grammar is employed consistently throughout the assignment.
