Content	Excellent Story is well organized. It includes characters, events, plot, problem, solution and setting consistent with the original story. T	Good Story is generally logical and includes characters, events, plot, problem, solution and setting that is some what consistent with the original story.	Fair Story is some what logical and includes some characters, events, plot, problem, solution and setting that is some what consistent with the original story.	Poor Story is not logical and does not include characters, events, plot, problem, solution, or setting that is consistent with the original story.
Grammar and Spelling	Excellent Writer uses correct grammar, word order, spelling and punctuation throughout the whole story.	Good Writer usually uses correct grammar, word order, spelling and punctuation for most of the story.	Fair Writer makes frequent mistakes with grammar, word order, spelling and punctuation.	Poor Writer consistently makes errors with grammar, word order, spelling and punctuation.
Effort	Excellent Writer fulfills the requirements of the assignment and has put care and effort into the process.	Good Writer fulfills all of the requirements of the assignment.	Fair Writer fulfills some of the requirements of the assignment.	Poor Assignment is incomplete.
