Below Target Segments of problem solutions are incomplete or missing; 2 or more logic errors occur which invalidate solutions; steps are omitted.
Understanding of Concept	Outstanding Students obviously understand the concept on the project and are able to explain and apply the concepts.	On Target Students somewhat understand the concept but show uncertainty about some aspects of application.	Minimum Target Students struggle to understand or explain much about the topic of the poster.	Below Target Students' understanding is minimal.
Clarity and Neatness	Outstanding Wow! Project is well-organized, neatly presented in a colorful and engaging manner. Viewer can easily follow the flow of information presented.	On Target Project presents the problem in a neat manner. All segments of the problem are visible, but lack organization for clarity.	Minimum Target Project requires viewer to study presentation to find all the pieces of the task. Writing may not be readily legible or organized.	Below Target Problem segments are haphazardly presented with no apparent organization; lacks necessary neatness needed to easily inform viewer.
Follows Directions/Answers ?'s	Outstanding All components are included.	On Target All components present; Minimal explanation is given; however, the details of the math solution are evident. Solution is clearly noted in the prject.	Minimum Target Most of the required solution is completed; explanations are limited or missing; infrequent or no use of math terms to explain solutions.	Below Target Problem and solution is given with little or no detail on how solution was attained.
