CONTENT	Excellent Shows a full understanding of the topic. Is able to answer questions about the topic.	Good Shows a good understanding of the topic. Is able to answer most questions about the topic	Fair Shows a fair understanding of parts of the topic. Is able to answer some of the questions about the topic.	Poor Does not seem to understand the topic very well. Is not able to answer any questions about the topic.
SPEAKS CLEARLY	Excellent Speaks clearly and distinctly all of the time. Audience can hear all of the time.	Good Speaks clearly and distinctly all of the time. Audience can hear most of the time.	Fair Speaks clearly and distinctly most of the time. Audience can usually hear.	Poor Often mumbles or cannot be understood OR cannot be heard by the audience.
PREPAREDNESS	Excellent Speaker is completely prepared and has obviously rehearsed. The flow of the presentation is excellent.	Good Speaker seems pretty prepared but might have needed a couple of more rehearsals. The flow of the presentation is reasonably good.	Fair Speaker is somewhat prepared but it is clear that rehearsal was lacking. There is a partial lack of flow to the presentation.	Poor Speaker does not seem prepared to present. There is no flow to the presentation.
EYE CONTACT	Excellent Speaker makes eye contact and faces the audience when speaking.	Good Speaker usually makes eye contact and usually faces audience when speaking.	Fair Speaker occasionally makes eye contact and sometimes does not face the audience when speaking.	Poor Speaker depends only on visual aids and sometimes does not face the audience when speaking.
STAYS ON TOPIC	Excellent Speaker stays on topic all of the time.	Good Speaker stays on topic most of the time.	Fair Speaker stays on topic some of the time.	Poor It was hard to tell what the topic was.
