Spanish 1. Writing: Create a Short and Illustrated Story

Upon completion of in-class practice of storytelling that contain some new structures and vocabulary, the learner will be able to effectively write and make up a story through descriptive details using the vocabulary and grammar provided.

Several vivid/descriptive words are used to tell when and where the story took place. 2-3 sentences per page.	Proficiency Level 5-7 pages. The main characters are named and described. Some vivid, descriptive words are used to tell the audience when and where the story took place. 2 sentences per page.	Introductory Level Less than 5 pages. It is hard to tell who the main characters are. Setting description is not clear.
Grammar and Vocabulary 25 % Past Tense verbs and Stem changing verbs conjugation	Mastery Level Has a minimum of 10 past tense verbs properly, conjugated and spelled correctly.	Proficiency Level Minimum of 8 past tense verbs, properly conjugated and spelled correctly.
