Grammar/Mechanics	Exceeds Posts/replies show good grammar, no spelling errors, and format is readable.	Meets Expectations Posts/replies have few spelling and grammatical errors.	Below Poor spelling and grammatical errors in several posts/replies.
Promptness	Exceeds Posted before the due date.	Meets Expectations Provided one day late.	Below Posted more than one day late.
Replies	Exceeds Replies to 2 other classmates post. Personal opinion follows expected netiquette.	Meets Expectations Responded to only 1 other post.	Below Did not respond to other classmates post. OR the response was rude or inappropriate.
Content	Exceeds Appropriate content and participation. Posting answers the required assigned discussion board post.	Meets Expectations Content and participation, but gets a little off topic.	Below Posting does not follow the topic for assigned discussion board post.
