Final Project: Upgrading Project 1 (Documentary Photography Proposal) or Project 2 (Conceptual Photography Proposal) into your Final Project | 30 % of Final Grade. For your final project, you are expected to apply all working and theoretical knowledge you have acquired over the course of this semester as you further develop either your Documentary Proposal (Project 1) or your Conceptual Proposal (Project 2) into your Final Project Submission.

Paradox is sometimes achieved through the use of pairing titles or captions with images that seem to work in contrast or tension and complicate the image by adding new layers of possible meaning through combining denotative and connotative elements. The photographer uses conceptual and/or specific language in captions that function as an element of cohesion between the photographs.
