Diorama: Better Than a Book Report 
The student will create a Diorama which includes a favorite scene in the book (setting, important characters, how/why the scene was important to the plot), tell about the elements in their diorama and how they are related to the scene.

Students shows a clear understanding of their book, but does not speak up enough to be heard by everyone or does not make eye contact during presentation.

Student is difficult to hear and reads their entire presentation without making eye contact.

Student refuses to give an oral presentation.
