3

Proverb is not entirely expressed clearly, but the majority is understood. The origin of the proverb was explained, but not particularly detailed.
1

No understanding of proverb chosen, and origin was not given. Shows that student put very little effort into project.
Use of proverb in context

5

It is very apparent that student understands the meaning of the proverbs and uses it in a very clear context. All explanations of proverbs were well used in context.
3

Student somewhat understands how to use the proverbs in context, but their examples show only a weak correlation of it's figurative use. However, two of the three proverbs were used well.
1

Student is very unclear about the meaning of their chosen proverbs. None of the three chosen proverbs shows that student researched their figurative meaning, as they could not produce solid contextual use of it.
Visual

5

Visual aids in explaining the meaning behind the proverb both for its literal and figurative meaning. Images are a perfect complement of the proverb.
3

Visual is a bit confusing, but the audience can still understand its connection; albeit a little weak.
1

Image has very little to do with the chosen proverbs, or there is absolutely no direct correlation between proverb and chosen image. Student demonstrated very little effort in finding complementing image.
Prononciation / Intonation

5

Pronunciation is clear, making it easy to follow the presentation. Good intonation of words spoken. This helped enhance the presentation.
3

Pronunciation is fair, with some areas that left the audience with an unclear notion of what was being said. Intonation was also a bit weak, but did not take away from overall presentation.
1

Very little effort (if any) put into pronunciation and intonation. Very flat with speech.
