News Content Using script, student creates a well organized News story with 5WsH	Limited Story fails to address the 5Ws and H. The viewer is left with little information about the event and has many unanswered questions.	Somewhat Story contains interesting details and a couple of the 5Ws H are answered. The viewer is given enough information to simply know about the event, but is left with a lot of unanswered questions.	Consistent Story contains interesting details and answers most of the 5Ws and H. The viewer has a very good understanding of the event, but is still left with a few questions.	Thoroughly Story contains many interesting details and all 5Ws and H are answered.The viewer is left with an excellent understanding of the event.
Video Presentation The student uses appropriate video to support the story. Video and script should match up.	Limited The student appears to have little understanding of the facts he/ she is describing to the viewer. Very little time and rehearsal were put into this presentation. Little to no time was spent editing the footage.	Somewhat The student appears to have some knowledge of the event, but seems to be searching for more information to relay to the viewer. More time rehearsing would have dramatically improved this presentation. Some editing of the video is obvious.	Consistent The student appears to have a pretty good understanding of the information they are relating to the viewer. A little more practice and rehearsal would have made the presentation completely polished. The students made a good effort at editing the video.	Thoroughly The material is presented in such a way that the student appears to really understand and know the information they are relating to the viewer. It is obvious that time was spent rehearsing and editing the video clip.

Airability	Limited News story is unable to air due to lack of/ or inappropriate content, is technically incomplete. This includes video that is only used as a filler. Consistent News story is appropriate, visually ready to air but needs technical work such as tighter timing, cleaner editing of minor parts.
