Exterior finish, was it clean and smooth or rough and how much post firing sanding did you need to do.	Awesome! All parts of the project integrated towards a unified whole. Elemental integration of parts: 1. The Mortar was rounded and followed the contours of the example. 2.Interior of the Mortar was smooth and deep. 3.lip and bottom were flat. 4. Pestle is correct size and shape. Finish: 1.The Mortar and Pestle was not rough in its Bisque fired state and needed little sanding.	Excellent Most parts of the project integrated towards a unified whole. Elemental integration of parts: 1. The Mortar was round but had some bumps and mostly followed the contours of the example. 2.Interior of the Mortar was slightly bumpy and deep. 3.lip and bottom were mostly flat.. 4. Pestle slightly misshapen.. Finish: 1.The Mortar and Pestle was slightly rough needed extra sanding on its surface.	Good Some parts of the project integrated towards a unified whole. Elemental integration of parts: 1. The Mortar was not uniform but followed the contours of the example. 2.Interior of the Mortar was rough and bumpy. 3.lip and bottom were beveled and inconsistent. 4. Pestle misshapen.. Finish: 1.The Mortar and Pestle was extremely rough and needed extensive sanding on its surface.	Fair Many parts of the project not integrated towards a unified whole. Elemental integration of parts: 1. The Mortar was not uniform . 2.Interior walls of the Mortar was either too thick or too thin and rough and bumpy. 3.lip and bottom were warped and inconsistent. 4. Pestle cracked, misshapen.. Finish: 1.The Mortar and Pestle was full of crumbs, divots, tool marks and lacking attention to finish..	Poor Most parts of project not integrated towards a unified whole. . Elemental integration of parts: 1. The Mortar was extremely misshapen. 2.Interior walls not functional and rough and bumpy. 3.lip and bottom rounded, warped and inconsistent. 4. Pestle missing or not functional. Finish: 1.The Mortar and Pestle was full of crumbs, divots, tool marks and lacking attention to finish. There are cracks in the work.
Firing result 5 pts Did the Mortar and Pestle blow up in the kiln because of air pockets in the work.	Awesome! The Mortar and Pestle fired evenly and was intact when it emerged from its cone 4 firing.
