Visual- Unique Perspective Students will use a combination of elements to create a visual representation of their perspective on high school pep rallies. Rubric Code: J22933B By mlpeiskee Ready to use Public Rubric Subject: English Type: Writing Grade Levels: 9-12

Visual Perspective
	Poor 15 pts	Fair 18 pts	Good 22 pts	Excellent 25 pts
Tone	Poor Visual does not show a clear positive or negative tone.	Fair Visual does show a simple positive or negative tone.	Good Visual shows a tone that is more specific than positive or negative.	Excellent Visual shows a complex tone depicting more than one side to the event.
Design	Poor Visual is a piece of cardstock with 1 or 2 black and white pictures printed off by Mrs.Peiskee before class.	Fair Visual is a piece of cardstock with multiple pictures showing time and thought by the student.	Good Visual shows all the elements from "fair" and has color added to emphasize tone.	Excellent Visual is completely original showing no assistance from Mrs. Peiskee.
Perspective	Poor There is an attempt, possibly unsuccessful, to show the student's unique perspective of the event.	Fair The perspective is evident due to words included in the visual, but not in the other elements in the design.	Good The perspective is shown through words chosen and other elements, there is no mistaking the students view of the event.	Excellent More than one perspective is shown through the combination of elements, ie words and design.
Heading	Poor first name only or on the front	Fair first and last name on the back	Good first and last name date in an incorrect format on the back	Excellent MLA formatted heading on the back: full name teacher's name class period date formatted correctly
