Good Short story is typed. Name, date, and class may be missing or misspelled.	Excellent Short story is typed using Times New Roman 12 font. Name, date, and class are present.
Creativity & Use of Lit. Devices 10 pts	Needs Improvement No creative language is used; academic vocabulary is lacking. Literary devices are absent or poorly employed.	Fair Very few creative terms are used; most academic vocabulary is present. Literary devices are used, but may not be effective.	Good Some creative language is used; vocabulary is appropriate.
