Design Your Own City: Map project
You will create a map of your own city, using the same urban planning techniques of early 20th century planners: parallel and perpendicular streets, a public gathering area (park or forum), and buildings for specific purposes (business, government, housing, education). Be creative! Remember, the emphasis is on PLANNING.
