Flipgrid Interview: Volcano News Reporter Inteview Character Interviews You are a television news reporter who will be interviewing a geologist. Flipgrid Interview You are a television news reporter (Partner #1) who will be interviewing a geologist (Partner #2). The geologist has just returned from studying a nearby volcano that may soon erupt. Write questions that the reporter will ask. Be sure to ask about the evidence that an eruption is coming, the type of eruption expected and any hazards that will result. Write your answers for each question and include all of that in your interview. Make sure you introduce both partners. Be creative with names!
	Required EACH item in EACH category is worth one point. You must include that item to get the point. 15 pts
Introduction Introduction An introduction of the character being interviewed is included at the beginning of the presentation.	Required The reporter intoduced himself/herself. The reporter introduced the character being interviewed. The reporter gave a good description of the character being interviewed (job description, qualification, etc.)
Interview Questions The questions were relevant to Volcanoes.	Required At least 5 questions were asked that varied in type and were relevant to volcanoes. Higher order inferential questions were used and answered correctly. Asked questions about evidence that an eruption is coming citing evidence from the text. Asked questions about the type of eruption expected citing evidence from the text. Asked questions about any hazards that will result citing evidence from the text.
Response The responses reflected the character's viewpoint and were relevant to volcanoes.	Required The responses flowed well and had good detail. The character was believable in their responses and they were relevant to the questions asked. Answered questions about evidence that an eruption is coming citing evidence from the text. Answered questions about the type of eruption expected citing evidence from the text. Answered questions about any hazards that will result citing evidence from the text.
Feedback The feedback showed thoughtful consideration and provided both positive comments and areas in need of improvement.	Required Each partner posted specific feedback on 2 other interviews. Each feedback post included one positive comment and one area of improvement.
