PowerPoint 20 % Technology	Excellent PowerPoint (PP) is engaging and entertaining. It is reasonably well written with use of photographs to enhance the information presented. Background is appropiate for the presentation.	Good PowerPoint (PP) is somewhat engaging and entertaining. Photographs are used to somewhat enhance the information presented. Background is adequate for the presentation.	Satisfactory PowerPoint (PP) is utilitarian. There are photographs used but are ineffectual or there is no photographs used. Background is adequate for the presentation.	Poor PowerPoint (PP) is adequate. Photographs, if any, are inappropriate or ineffectual and detract from the information presented. Background detracts from the presentation.
Organization 20 % Structure of the PowerPoint	Excellent Content is written with a logical sequence of ideas and supporting information. Limited number of bullets per page. The amount of verbaige per bullet point is to the point. Most of the presentation gives the audience an idea of the topic.	Good The content is vague in certain aspects or missing them all together. Main points may be lost to the audience. Includes few facts. Some of the information may not seem to fit.	Satisfactory Sequencing of ideas is unclear. Includes little information - few facts from each topic. Excessive number of bullets per page. Information is incomplete or incorrect.	Poor Too many or too few bullets per page with too much information per bullets. Information is incomplete. Few facts are present in general. The main ideas are difficult to ascertain or non evident.
Knowledge of Material Assigned 20 %	Excellent Presentation shows student read and understood the assigned material well enough to thoroughly teach about it.	Good Presentation shows student read and understood the chapter enough to teach about it.	Satisfactory Presentation shows student read and showed basic understanding.	Poor Presentation shows student skimmed the chapter and did not expand on basic facts.

Good Student followed most of the directions and has most of the required components included in presentation.	Satisfactory Student followed some of the directions and has some of the required components included in presentation.	Poor Student did not follow the directions and is missing large parts of the required components in their presentation.
Student Notes 10 %	Excellent Group had student notes prepared which included each slide. The notes were organized and had sufficient amount of spaces taken out.	Good Group had student notes prepared which included each slide. The notes were somewhat organized and had spaces taken out.	Satisfactory Group had student notes prepared which included each slide. The notes were not very organized and/or did not have a sufficient amount of spaces taken out.	Poor Group had student notes but some slides were missing. Or notes were very unorganized and hard to follow. Did not have enough spaces taken out.
Movie Clip 10 %	Excellent Presentation includes a movie clip that enhances the information presented and is appropriate to content being delivered.	Good Presentation includes a movie clip that somewhat enhances the information presented and is somewhat appropriate to content being delivered.	Satisfactory Presentation includes a movie clip but it is inadequate to the information presented and is is not very appropriate to content being delivered.	Poor Presentation does not include a movie clip and/or it is not appropriate to the content being delivered.
Group Grade 10 %	Excellent Everyone in the group did their part, the presentation is well organized and flowed nicely.	Good Most of the group did their part, the presentation is mostly organized.	Satisfactory Some of the group did their part, the presentation is not very organized and could have flowed more smoothly.	Poor Most of the group did not do their part, the presentation was unorganized.
