Ratios and Unit Rates Representing & Reasoning About Ratios
	Level 1 1 pts	Level 2 2 pts	Level 3 3 pts
Ratios, language and notation	Level 1 Student foes not attempt and is not fluid with what a ratio is and how different quantities are used to illustrate ratios and cannot apply any forms of ratio language or ratio notation.	Level 2 Student attempts with some fluidness of what a ratio is and how different quantities are used to illustrate ratios and can apply very little forms of ratio language and ratio notation.	Level 3 Student is proficient and fluid with what a ratio is and how different quantities are used to illustrate ratios and can apply multiple forms of ratio language and ratio notation.
Unit Rate and ratio concepts	Level 1 Student does not attempt to explain and shows very limited understanding of the underlying ratio concepts needed to solve real world math situations or is not written.	Level 2 Student attempts to explain and shows some understanding of ratio concepts needed to solve real world math situations.	Level 3 Students proficiently explains and shows substantial understanding of ratio concepts used to solve real world math situations.
Ratio & Proportional reasoning	Level 1 Student does not attempt to demonstrate and shows little to no evidence of mathematical reasoning to solve real world ratio math problems.	Level 2 Student attempts to solve and demonstrates some evidence of mathematical reasoning to solve a real world ratio math problem.	Level 3 Student demonstrates proficient knowledge of mathematical reasoning by correctly solving a real world ratio math problem.
Creating a ratio table/chart	Level 1 Student does not demonstrate knowledge of ratio equivalency by failing to create a ratio table to solve real world math problems.	Level 2 Student demonstrates basic knowledge of ratio equivalency by attempting and or partially creating a ratio table to solve real world math problems.	Level 3 Student demonstrates proficient knowledge of ratio equivalency by creating a ratio table to solve real world math problems.
