Persuasiveness 10 %	Good The student was able to persuade or recruit the majority of the audience to join their scientific foundation or belief system.	Fair The student was able to persuade or recruit some of the audience to join their scientific foundation or belief system.	Poor The student was not able to persuade or recruit much of the audience to join their scientific foundation or belief system.
Organization 15 %	Good The student's method of speaking was organized and followed logically with the flow of the discussion.	Fair The student's method of speaking was understandable and followed somewhat with the flow of the discussion.	Poor The student's method of speaking was unorganized and/or did not follow logically with the flow of the discussion.
Scientific Content 40 %	Good The content spoken by the student was clear and accurate to their point of view.	Fair The content spoken by the student was somewhat clear and fairly accurate to their point of view.	Poor The content spoken by the student was not clear and/or was inaccurate to their point of view.
Participation 20 %	Good Student participated and/or researched to a very good extent.	Fair Student participated in the discussion and/or researched a fair amount.	Poor Student did not adequately participate in the discussion and/or research.
Teamwork 15 %	Good Student was able to work on appropriate side very well, working with his/her partner. They likewise answered well the opposing side.
