World Religion Project/Presentation Rubric

You will be presenting a world religion. You will be finding out and presenting what the religion is like to others in the exhibition on March 3. You will be researching and presenting information about the religion. You could use the sub-headings below, however you can add to these. • Historical background • Basic belief system • Sacred texts • Key leaders • Sacred spaces and places • Symbolism • Holidays, festivals and celebrations • Demographics

Good Audience has occasional difficulty following presentation because group jumps around.	Excellent Student presents information in logical sequence which audience can follow.	Outstanding Student presents information in logical, interesting sequence which audience can follow.
Subject Knowledge 30 pts	Poor Significant gaps in subject knowledge.	Fair Student shows some misunderstandings of information.	Good Student is uncomfortable with information and is only able read what is on the paper/powerpoint/ sheets/ poster	Excellent Student is at ease with the information; he/she is able to add some additional information to the presentation, but fails to elaborate.	Outstanding Student demonstrates full knowledge (more than required) with explanations and elaboration that enhance the presentation. All items of the Matrix are in the report and presentaton.
