Preparation	Advanced Student is always prepared for class with assignments and suggested class materials and homework.	Beyond With cues he/she is prepared for class with assignments and suggested class materials and homework.	Competent With cues he/she is often prepared for class with assignments and suggested class materials and homework.	NYC Student requires cues and support in order to be prepared for class with assignments, suggested class materials and homework.
Productivity/On-task	Advanced Student is always on task and works productively	Beyond With few cues to attend student is on task and works productively	Competent With cues to attend student is on task and works productively	NYC Student requires support in order to initiates tasks and work productively
Level of Engagement	Advanced Student readily contributes to class discussions by offering ideas and asking questions. Competent Student OCCASIONALLY shows responsibility and respect and occasionally displays disruptive behavior during class.	NYC Student DID NOT show responsibility and respect during class.
