ORGANIZATION	Meets Expectation The opening grabs the reader's attention. The events are logically arranged. The ending provides appropriate closure for the task or experience learned.	Almost Meets Expectations The beginning needs better clarity in capturing the reader's attention. The wording of events lack organization and clarity. The ending could be more influential.	Fails to Meet Expectations The vocabulary and sequence of events does not make sense.
IDEAS AND CONTENT	Meets Expectation The writer describes an important experience that happened to them or a new skill learned. The writer makes it easy for the reader to follow the sequential steps to complete a task or a specific outcome.	Almost Meets Expectations The importance of the experience or task is somewhat vague. It is difficult for the reader to follow with clarity.	Fails to Meet Expectations Not much happens. The details are unclear and confusing to the reader. Difficulty in understanding task or outcome.

The writer uses a variety of sentence structures or concise bullet points, which allow the author's ideas to flow nicely.
