Sequence clue words 2 pts Uses words such as beginning, middle and end of the story.	Below Basic The student did not use any of the sequencing words.	Basic The student used a few of the sequencing clue words.	Exemplary All sequencing clue words were used by the student in a logical order.
Organization 2 pts The student will complete a Thinking Map to organize events in order.	Below Basic The student did not place the information in the correct format on his/her Thinking Map.
