iRubric: SHORT STORY CREATIVE PROJECT rubric

The project clearly represents at least 3 key events in written and illustrated from the selected short story. It provides interesting information and provokes interest in story.

All items are neatly presented with all drawings/pictures appropriate for topic of poster. Poster is extremely neat and easy to follow. Drawings are excellent.

Project uses many creative elements to present poster topic. Pleasant use of color and graphics.

There are no grammatical and mechanical mistakes on the project.

The project attempts to represent 2 key events from the story, but lacks enough information to be clear of its purpose and does not adequately inform or provoke interest in the story.

Items are somewhat untidy. Some drawings/pictures do not relate to project topic.
Project is is somewhat difficult to follow due to some messy content. Drawings are a bit difficult to interpret.

Project uses few creative elements. Limited use of color and/or graphics.

There are 3-4 grammatical and mechanical mistakes on the project.
