Introduction	Level 5 gets the reader interested states clearly the purpose *tells what the writing is going to be about in an interesting way	Level 4 states the purpose tells what the writing is going to be about	Level 3 purpose is hard to follow needs a little more information	Level 2 purpose is not clear tells very little about what the writing is going to be about	Level 1 *no introductory paragraph
